Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: Upon Ticket Purchase
By purchasing a ticket from Through His Hands Foundation (hereafter referred to as " Medallion Mission") and participating in Medallion Mission’s Event (hereafter referred to as "the Event"), you ("the Participant") agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully, as they contain important information regarding your legal rights, limitations of liability, and obligations.
Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions and any additional rules or instructions provided for the Event. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Medallion Mission.Nature of Participation
Participation in the Event involves solving riddles, following clues, and locating the physical medallion. The medallion can be found without any digging, excavation, or disturbance to the environment or public/private property. All riddles and clues are designed to be solved from publicly accessible areas only.Eligibility
To maintain the integrity of the Event, close friends, family members, donors, and anyone with privileged access to information about the Event or its design are not permitted to participate and are ineligible to receive the reward. This includes immediate family members, household members, and any individuals with a close personal relationship to the operators of the Event.Event Success
The search for the medallion depends solely on the Participant’s ability to interpret and solve the riddles and clues, which require problem-solving, analytical thinking, and persistence.Obeying Laws and Regulations
Participants must obey all local laws, including traffic and pedestrian laws, while participating in the Event. Any violations, fines, personal injury, or incidents arising from noncompliance are solely the responsibility of the Participant. Medallion Mystery assumes no liability for such actions.Reward
The finder(s) of the medallion will receive the reward. Upon discovery, the finder(s) must demonstrate their process by explaining how each riddle was solved. This verification ensures the integrity of the event, preventing accidental discovery by non-participants. Once verified, the reward will be given to the finder(s). The finder(s) who receive the reward are responsible for any tax obligations. There is a possibility that the medallion might be inadvertently discovered during the event by someone who is not participating. If you are confident that you have located what should be the medallion's resting place, send us a picture of the exact location. If you are correct and can walk us through how you solved each riddle, you will receive the reward. In this event, the event will be over, and no further reward will be given if the medallion is brought forward at a later date.Ticket Sale Allocation
All proceeds from ticket sales, minus expenses for webhosting and advertising fees, will go to the Hematology and Oncology Clinic at Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital. The reward to the finder(s), will be all of the items that are listed in the prize pack as of date of discovery of the medallion.Assumption of Risk
By participating, you acknowledge that activities involved in the Event may carry inherent risks, including personal injury or other hazards. You assume full responsibility for any risks or losses associated with your participation.Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, and discharge Medallion Mission, its owners, operators, and any other affiliated entities from any and all claims, demands, damages, rights, and causes of action of any kind, whether arising in law or equity, that may arise from or relate to your participation in the Event. This includes any claims arising from negligence, breach of contract, or otherwise.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Through His Hands Foundation, meaning its members, operators, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your participation, including any act, omission, or conduct that may harm other participants or property.No Warranty
Through His Hands Foundation makes no warranty or representation, express or implied, regarding the suitability, safety, accuracy, or reliability of the Event, riddles, or clues. The Event is provided "as is," without any guarantee of success for any participant in locating the medallion.No Refund Policy
All sales are final. No refunds will be issued, except as required by applicable law. Your purchase of a ticket constitutes acceptance of this no-refund policy.Modification or Cancellation
Through His Hands Foundation reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Event for any reason, including but not limited to safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation, we will refund the price of ticket purchase.Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state of Tennessee, specifically Knox County. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Event shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the United States, Tennessee, and Knox County.Name Release: By accepting the reward, the finder(s) agree to allow their name(s) and/or likeness to be publicly released by Through His Hands Foundation. This includes publishing their name(s) on websites, social media platforms, and promotional materials related to the Event and any future Events. The finder(s)’ name(s) may be disclosed as a requirement for receiving the reward.
Photographs and Videos: The finder(s) agree to appear in photos and/or videos upon request of Through His Hands Foundation for the purpose of promoting the Event and any future Events, verifying the authenticity of the outcome, or any other Event-related purpose. The finder(s) understand that these images and videos may be used in social media, websites, and other marketing channels.
Reward: To receive the reward, the finder(s) must fulfill all conditions set forth in these Terms. Failure to comply with the necessary agreements may result in forfeiture of the reward. Additionally, the reward will not be given until the finder(s) have provided consent for publicity purposes.
Integrity of the Event: These terms ensure the integrity of the Event by verifying and confirming that the reward is given to a legitimate participant of the Event. Through His Hands Foundation reserves the right to disqualify any participant who does not comply with these Terms.
By purchasing a ticket and participating in the Event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
